Senior Product Designer

Herndon, VA - Remote

Reporting to the VP of Product you will

  • Work with a top-tier product engineering team on the user experience of our customer identity solutions. Seriously, they are the best. You will LOVE working with them.
  • Identify user research needs, select appropriate research methodologies, conduct research sessions, and synthesize the data into actionable recommendations
  • Propose, prioritize, and design experiences that exceed customer expectations
  • Quickly move from abstract ideas to conceptual sketches to highly polished designs
  • Create concept models, storyboards, and/or flow diagrams that describe how a system might facilitate a user reaching their goals
  • Create sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, and/or prototypes describing solutions that facilitate users reaching their goals
  • Obsess over details of visual design and micro interactions
  • Design navigation systems that facilitate findability of information
  • Support the development, QA, and documentation processes

In your first 90 days you will

  • Build your knowledge of the customer identity product landscape
  • Understand the many use cases our product fulfills for customers
  • Learn about our product capabilities and how they work on a conceptual and technical level
  • Learn how to collaborate with our engineering team in Veszprém, Hungary
  • Take ownership of your first set of features, taking them from concept through release

At the end of your first year, you will have

  • Ensured, through qualitative and quantitative methodologies, that our customer-facing workflows are useful, usable, and desirable for all our client’s customers.
  • Evolved the information architecture, visual design, and interactive design patterns of our administrative experience to make it look amazing in demos and easy to learn for our clients.
  • Established agile and sustainable designer-developer workflows that scale for a growing design team
  • Delivered features that provide extreme value to customers and differentiates us from our competition

  • Someone who can effectively collaborate with a remote team in Hungary
